La Maddalena

La Maddalena is a city in Sardegna, Italy with an absolutely amazing pink sand beach, and is the inspiration behind this splendid & unique necklace. 

The pink stones here are vintage pink opal. They have seen a lot and are not considered “perfect,” which is why I found them to be ideal. Every stone is slightly different, and a few have some wear-and-tear. I’ve hand-knotted each stone on silk thread and interspersed the most incredible Persian turquoise beads to mimic the sky blue waters of Sardegna.  The piece is finished with a modern carabiner clasp, set with turquoise colored crystals. The clasp lets you attach charms and pendants, or add bracelets and other necklaces to layer and lengthen and keep it fun. 

Truly one of a kind. 

Comes with the pink snake charm, other matching charms and pendants are available. I’m happy to customize with different clasps of your preference, just ask!
