Protect My Heart earrings

When I was a baby one of the first gifts I received was an “evil eye,” or maloccio charm from my godmother. Across different cultures and continents it has been a superstition for millennia that the evil eye charm protects the wearer from evil thoughts and actions of others. 
I’ve always had a soft spot for the symbol, so now I pass it on to you!

These earrings are made of carved mother of pearl in the shape of a heart, which have been adorned with a gold plated cutout of the evil eye. I’ve paired them with a small stack of gorgeous chrysoprase and freshwater pearl, and finished them with sterling silver findings and earwires. 

Lightweight, fun, and daringly different.
